Both power supply and photocell switch are built-in and protected by the same sturdy case. Fully resistant to vandalism, it is indeed a complete and totally Plug & Play solution. Synchronization ~ The switching ON and OFF of the Hyperion illuminator is automatically driven by an integrated photocell switch that also controls (through a dry contact) the switching of the camera from DAY to NIGHT mode. This synchronization feature is a very simple and efficient solution to a common problem. All models in the Hyperion range offer this useful feature. Fine lux adjusting ~ The light threshold is factory adjusted and is set to 20 lux. This means that every single Hyperion is delivered with all its parameaters setup and ready to work correctly. Simply install on-site, Plug & Play! If the environment requires a different lux threshold level, the photocell switch trimmer is easily adjustable with a screwdriver.
